I have always been interested in telling stories.
I have always been interested in telling stories. I was a keen writer as a child, and got my first recognition when I was 10, winning a trip to Disneyworld with a piece about Walt Disney’s dream.
At University, I discovered that my attention to detail was well suited for planning and strategy, and these were my favourite disciplines and where I achieved my best grades. I was all set for a marketing career out of college, but an opportunity took me thousands of miles away from my hometown of Rio de Janeiro, and I started to work for a giant software company. I have spent many years facing customers, listening and resolving their issues and getting to know people of all cultures and backgrounds.
My love of technology and my interest in story-telling converged when I started to work as a content lead for an emerging fintech. There were many innovations to showcase, and very complex concepts to simplify. Working closely with researchers, designers, copywriters, digital and sales teams, I developed strategy hubs to help clients understand and visualise what numbers couldn’t give them – the real investment opportunity behind each fund.
